I’m excited announce that my new novel “Modern Hysteria” will be getting released via Amazon on 4/1/22. The hardcover and paperback proofs are beautiful and I’m excited to get them in your hands. Modern Hysteria is a book I’ve been working on for some time. This will be one that frightens parents in particular and I consider it one of my most depraved works to date. The book will be illustrated, as all my works are, and here are a couple of illustrations just for the fiends on my Maggot Mailing List.
HUGE FILM NEWS
I’ve been reluctant to talk about it because, unlike my writing which depends solely on my drive and creation, film is a completely different animal. Hundreds of people can potentially be involved, making the success or even just the completion/delivery of the film a tall order. Simply put, more things can go wrong than right. So take the following super awesome fucking news with the understanding that it could all potentially vanish tomorrow. But if these get made, that would really be something else…
WEDDING DAY MASSACRE FEATURE FILM
I’ve signed a film option for Wedding Day Massacre. The screenplay is nearing completion and very soon we will be looking for investors on this project. If this project gets funding I will have an executive producer role for the film which should allow me to give my input. The director I’m working with on this is an incredible guy. Both talented and a great collaborator. We’ve talked for hours and hours about this project already and I hope to see our joint vision on the screen in the future. We don’t plan to hold back; expect the no boundaries brand of Aron Beauregard Horror that you’ve come to know and love. We have a long way to go, but I’m hopeful and excited!
SECRET BOOK/FILM PROJECT: THE CUCK
The Cuck is a short book that I wrote specifically with having a film adaptation in mind. When an up-and-coming film director in the UK approached me to see if I’d be interested in adapting one of my stories, I thought it might even be better to write something from scratch. The concept for 'The Cuck’ is highly disturbing. The story is one of the creepier things I’ve done and I know it will translate flawlessly because we planned for that in advance. The dialogue is written in UK English since I knew it was going to be filmed overseas. There is a strong probability that this could be filmed/released this year. I’m hoping to give members of the Maggot Mailing list a chance to be some of the FIRST PEOPLE TO SEE THE FILM.
As updates come, I’ll be sure to keep everyone in the loop. Incredibly excited about this and I hope you all are as well. Thanks a million for your support, I appreciate all of you and this stuff wouldn’t be possible without all of you.

This is an incredible event from what others have told me. Many of the most talented horror writers alive will be in attendance. It is also a great charity event organized by none other than horror legend Brian Keene.

Produced by Jack Bantry of Splatterpunk Magazine fame, the collection will feature a story from each of us and we’re hoping to have them available for Scares That Care. If so, you can grab one and get it signed by all four of us!

DEATH’S HEAD PRESS CHAPBOOKS!
As many of you know I love being in complete control of my books and releases. That’s why you will see me work with very few publishers in my solo ventures and even some of my collaborations. I was approached by Death’s Head Press to do 3 chapbooks (chapbooks are old school pocket style books) under their new branch “Dead Sky Ink.” This is a highly reputable publisher who I trust my work with, so we made a deal. You may be familiar with them as they recently made the cover of Publisher’s Weekly, have brought home Splatterpunk Awards, and also are responsible for the infamous Splatter Western series.
I’m excited to announce that addition to my 3 books, they are releasing an 8 chapbook series by Brian Keene, and a 3 chapbook series from my good friend Daniel J. Volpe. I believe they will be announcing some other names as well, but the overall quality and awesomeness of this project is going to be a real treat for readers.
Think Twilight Zone with no boundaries when you consider what I will be putting out for my 3 books. It’s going to be something special and I can’t wait to get it in your hands. I will still be able to do signed copies for my readers as usual, so no worries there!
SPLATTERPUNK AWARD NOMINATIONS
Last but not least, I’m excited to announce that thanks to all of you, the first collaborative effort under Aron Beauregard Horror, “Beyond Reform,” has two nominations at this year’s Splatterpunk Awards!
The book itself was nominated for “Best Short Story Collection,” and my story within, “The Martini Club,” was nominated for “Best Short Story.”
A huge thanks to both Jon Athan & Jasper Bark who joined me on this project. I think we made something special and hopefully we come away with a win. But either way I want to thank all of you for your support and voting!
